We have just installed the LL extension on our Chromebooks which we lend out from our Lapsafe Lockers. We want to monitor the usage of LL from these devices to see if LL is being used on them. At the moment this is not possible - there isn't a dashboard metric which covers this, and I do not believe the necessary data is being collected. It would be great if there was a admin only setting in the extension which let you specify certain variables which could be collected by reported on within the dashboard. For example, with our Chromebooks, we would simply enter a value such as "UH Library Chromebook", to ID the device to LL and it's analytics.
Another option would be to capture the OS as well as the browser which we can report upon. I know this would report on other Chromebook users too. A third optionw ould be to capture Ip address - I think our Chromebooks belong to a specific IP subnet range, so if the LL dashboard did capture this data we could report on it this way.
