With the old extension design, we used to be able to right-click on the “Make Interlending Request” or “eBook available at a different location” buttons and be able to copy the URL.
These URLs could then be shared with users to link to a pre-populated ILL request form (we use OCLC Tipasa) or a proxied direct link to the ebook.
With the new extension design, we don’t seem to be able to do that anymore. Staff have fedback that being able to right-click and copy the links were useful for sharing with users.
I'd just like to add that this feature would be a big help for technical troubleshooting.
Also, it would make the extension more transparent to vigilant users who want to inspect a link before they click.
